Kupwra School Refurbishment Project

The SDL Foundation has contributed funds for the refurbishment and extension of a school in Kupwra, India.  The school is the only school in the valley and caters for students between the ages of 5 and 14.

The parents of the students are mainly farmers; monetary transactions are rare as they survive by trading. In this goods-based culture, SDL's funding has immediately improved facilities and provided the younger generations with resources that they would never have had access to previously.
